The STW25 programme was all about exploring the latest developments in the treatment of HCC and BTCs. Attendees learned how new trial results, such as those from EMERALD-1 and LEAP-012, were changing how treatment was approached in practice. Together, participants tackled key questions around when to use TARE, TACE, or systemic therapy in complex cases, and how to navigate challenges like vascular invasion, high lung shunts, and extrahepatic supply.
What made this workshop special? It was the chance to connect with experts across specialties, learn from real cases, and engage with them to gain insights that spoke directly to the challenges faced in clinical practice.
