ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Presenters have been invited to speak for a specific duration. Please check your invitation email for your allocated presentation time. To keep the programme on schedule, session chairs have been asked to strictly manage the timing of each presentation.

The official format of the presentation is via a projector using Microsoft PowerPoint. Presenters will not be allowed to connect their own computers to the projectors at the conference.

Presenters are requested to use the official ILCA AC2026 PowerPoint template for their presentations, the template is downloadable via the below link:

Your final PowerPoint presentation must be uploaded by Thursday, 20 August.

For organizational purposes, please rename your file as follows:

FirstName_LastName – PresentationDate – SessionTitle

If you are speaking in multiple sessions, please upload each presentation separately.

⚠️ Important Note

Please note that there will not be a dedicated speaker-ready room on-site. We therefore ask that you upload your final presentation before the deadline.

For chairs of sessions with abstract presenters, the Book of Abstracts will be shared with you once available to help you prepare for your session.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

SIZE & HANGING AND REMOVAL OF YOUR POSTER

The board assigned for your paper poster will be marked with your final abstract number, which will be communicated to you in early August (P-XXX). This final abstract number will also be used in the author’s index in the Final Program & Abstract Book.

POSTER SIZE

The size of your poster should correspond to:

90 cm or 35 inches (width) x 110 cm or 43.3 inches (height) in portrait orientation.

If you do not conform to these dimensions, it may not be possible to display your poster. Please find a picture of the poster board for your better understanding. Conference organizers will only provide the structure.

 

POSTER TITLE & NUMBER

The title of your poster should be printed at the top of the poster in bold, capital letters. The name (s) of the author(s), department(s), institution(s), and country of author(s) should be clearly stated directly below the title. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.

Please also indicate your poster number on your poster (P-XXX). The font size of the content is up to the poster author.

à The poster numbers will be communicated in early August.

 

POSTER PRINTING

All presenting authors printing the posters not via ‘’PosterSessionOnline’’, are responsible for printing their poster, bringing it to the conference, and mounting it on the indicated board. There will be no printing facilities at the Conference.

 

POSTER MOUNTING TIME*

Wednesday, 2 September 2026 from 17.00 to 19.00

Thursday, 3 September from 09.00 to 10.30

POSTER REMOVAL TIME

Saturday, 5 September 2026 from as of 15:30. Posters that have not been removed by 16:30 will be disposed of by the organizers.

 

POSTER VIEWING TOUR

All poster presenters are invited to be present at their posters during the time slot indicated below and to engage with conference participants visiting the poster exhibition.

TOP-SCORED POSTERS

Presenters of top-scored posters will be invited to be present in front of their poster and be ready for any questions from the chairs about the findings and research described in the poster paper. This will take place at the above-mentioned time.

The paper poster viewing tour will be chaired by 4 ILCA leaders who will be there to lead the tour and interact with you.

It is the responsibility of the abstract author to ensure that at least one of the authors is in attendance at the above-mentioned time to be present next to the poster and be ready to answer the questions from the chairs.

Presenters of top-scored posters will be informed by early August.

 

E-POSTER SUBMISSION

Abstracts accepted to be presented as posters will be available both physically at the venue and virtually via the ILCA conference app. Your poster will have to be printed and placed on a poster board at the venue and submitted on an online interactive poster platform. The e-Poster submission will close on 21 August.
